I’m Sleeping in The Queen’s Head While Her Majesty Turns 90!

A week ago, I arrived in the beautiful Northeast England town of Durham on a special mission. I’m hoping to meet members of the Durham University Research Team for investigating the phenomenon of Hearing Inner Voices. As you know, that’s a great interest of mine, as well, since I have been a Voice Hearer since 1980. See my other website, www.insecretdiffusion.com, for a sample of some of my internal interviews of the Voice in my head. I’ve also published two books on the subject and a third is due out soon. Needless to say, I’m professionally thrilled to be here but, also personally, since this small university town is very historic and pleasing to the senses.
The early Spring weather is blustery and cold, with an Arctic Blast expected to hit. Even so, the sun chased the gloom away by mid-afternoon. I bought some sweaters, boots, and a gaudy, black & white plaid coat, so managed pretty well after that hot Mexican beach weather I was complaining about last week. Here’s a photo essay taken this afternoon.
Here’s my huge Sunday Lunch for only $12. Roast Beef and mashers, squash, roasties, cheesy cauliflower and four kinds of veggies. Plus Yorkshire Pudding!
The meal won! Here are the leftovers! This is the hardship the Brits face, week-after-week!
